While elsewhere it is already spring around this time of year, in Obertauern you can still slice across perfect slopes. Alpine and Nordic skiers all get their money's worth here with us.

 

Hundsfeld Trail:

Length 6 km

You can access this wonderful, sunny cross-country trail north of the sports center. The most beautiful part of this trail extends across Hundsfeldmoor nature sanctuary and ends with a quick descent towards the sports center. An additional access point to the Hundsfeldloipe is found above the Lürzeralm close to Hotel Leitner!

Twenger Au Trail:

Length 23 km

This 23 km long cross-country ski trail connects Tweng and Mauterndorf.

Taurach Trail:

 Length 13 km

This 13 km long cross-country ski run connects Untertauern and Radstadt.

Gnadenalm Trail:

Length 10 km

You can access this trail about 4 km outside of Obertauern (in the direction of Radstadt) shortly after the Weisslahn avalanche gallery. The Gnadenalm trail is considered to have some of the best snow conditions anywhere in the Alps.

World Cup Trail:

Length 10 km

The entrance to this exciting, 10 km-long intermediate cross-country trail is found at the valley station of the Gamsleiten chair lift and the 'Cemetery of the Nameless'.
